Hi there,
when starting the game and going for a new save file, I am prompted to create a character. I can then click on everything, except the birthday button at the end. Therefore the game is not letting me finish the character customation and I haven't even played the game yet. I'm stuck.

Oh no I am sorry. You do not need to fill out a birthday to complete character customization. All you need is a name and then you can pres the play button at the bottom of the screen to start the game. Can you explain what happens when you try to press play?
