Hey guys! It's the June report. Development is still going well, no major hiccups or anything major to report. We're working on the game as much as possible so we can to try and release by the end of the year. So let's take a look at what we were working on
- Added a backpack expansion system, so the player can increase their inventory space.
- Added a tree spawner system so that trees in the world can all be chopped down with the axe. - Added the system for NPC expressions so their faces can emote - Added the system for the NPC voices when interacted with - Misc NPC systems for gift giving and player interactions - Misc bug fixes to the UI, mini-games, and other systems.
A lot of work and new systems have been added, and now they need to be populated and set up with information which we'll be working on this month. Most of them are NPC focused.
Assets and Environment
We've been working on adding more models and assets to the different buildings and added in new trees and rocks in the environment. Really not much more to say aside from that.
Most of the Kickstarter rewards should have been mailed off. If you are a Kickstarter backer and you still have not gotten your reward, please check the Kickstarter blog posts and see where you can submit your address again to receive your rewards. I'll probably check the forms to see if any new people have requested rewards later this month.
Goals for May
- Set up more NPC related things - Set up and fix up the shops. - More NPC writing - Polish and more bug fixes.
